Goodness. Good works. Connecting the dots into a power for positive change. The "antidote" to what's happening in our world. Let's build the world that we want, not fight against the one that we don't! Isn't it time?

Debra Sexton said… Greetings Richard,
Thanks for the warm welcome! I was surfing the web doing research for my project when I stubled upon Conscious Community-Reno'sweb site. I SO surpised and delighted to see such enlightenment does exist in the high desert. Thanks for the invitation to share blogs--I will definitely keep this in the forefront of my mind, as I am seeking as much input, persectives and feedback, as well as the challenges we face as a local and global population striving to live more sustainably and in balance, to assist in the development of my project.
I am curious, I see the Weaver's Gathering advertise. I am curious what this is all about, and if it is open to all? I am seeking enlightened conversations and opportunites to walk my talk...
Thanks again and I wish your day to be smooth a Peace-Filled.
Take good care,
Marti

I am happy to share the journey that brought me here, but thought it might be too long for a blog?

Thanks for responding to me and also for accepting an out-of-towner. I could not navigate to find a local "chapter" and I was ever so hungry for general information that I wanted to join you and yours. I posted my story about how I met Dr. Ari on another page under the Dr.'s trip in the US. I will paste that explanation here at the end. I am a miracle, surviving cancer when I was told I would die "soon" a few times. I'm here for a purpose, currently a painter and writer. My passion is pulling me in the direction of helping people and our one and only Mother Earth NOW. I need skills and to unlock my consciousness to the possibilities of what I can gather people around me for change. My son decided to fight in the US Army. that makes my awareness all the more keener and shows me the work we need to accomplish. OK lets see if I can paste a large amount here:

Dr. Ari taught me, spoke to me at the question and answer session after his speaking at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California along with my teacher Jack Kornfield. I was planning to take a trip to study with the Dalai Lama in New York City about 7 or 8 years ago.
Can you locate my comments on that page it won't accept so much.
