Community Principles and Virtues

WHAT WE STAND FOR
We all share a belief that virtues are important, but they may not be in the forefront of how we live our lives. Conscious Community encourages us to “walk our talk” because we believe that the foundation to a sustainable society is in virtuous behavior towards ourselves and others, generating strong families, tight-knit neighborhoods, communities, and eventually the world.

This list was the result of input from the community and from looking at the “core values” of many social institutions including service groups such as Rotary, business, the U.S. military and police departments, non-profit and civic organizations, religious groups, city governments, and more.
