Regional Planning Consultant - Status: Full-time, Contract position Under the guidance of the Nevada Broadband Task Force and the Connect Nevada Program Coordinator, the Regional Planning Consultant will manage the activities of the Nevada regional planning teams. These teams will implement a statewide strategy that includes benchmarking of technology use across relevant community sectors; setting goals for improved technology use within each sector; the development of a strategic plan for achieving its goals; and ultimately increased broadband adoption and digital literacy. The Regional Planning Consultant will assist regional teams in developing community action plans and also assist in implementing state strategies for outreach and awareness of the program and its impact among broadband stakeholders at the state, regional, and local levels. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications Management, Government/ Public Administration, Education, Training & Development, or business- related discipline required. In addition, the successful candidate should have five years of experience in a professional setting and be skilled in managing projects and meeting facilitation. Experience developing and delivering training is preferred. This is a full-time, contract position and the successful candidate must be a resident of the state of Nevada.
