“Connecting the Good Campaign” Kick Off (a Facebook “Liking” Party )

Join us Thursday, September 1st from 7-10 PM for a fun evening that will do a lot of good.

Conscious Community and Urban Roots are throwing a Facebook “Liking” Party to launch the “Connecting the Good” campaign to raise awareness for sustainable action in Northern Nevada, as well as funding for the Urban Roots Farm ― and we are requesting your help!

You don’t need to spend a dime! In fact, the first 75 people get a FREE BEER.

Join us as we will have computers set up for you to “Like” the Conscious Community Page. For every Like, $.50 will be donated up to $2,000 to Urban Roots new farm. Even if you have already Liked the Conscious Community Page, you are welcome to come, have a good time with us, and use the computers to share your status with your friends.

It's okay to come if you are not on Facebook.  While there, we ask that you send the link to the Conscious Community FB Page to your friends, who may be on FB.

More about the Connecting the Good Campaign
There are many people, organizations, businesses, and networks doing a lot of good in Northern Nevada. Many have a Facebook fan base of supporters. Our idea is to bring all of these people and partners together to share the positive projects that they do online and in person ― virtually on the Conscious Community Facebook, web site, and face-to-face gatherings and tangibly at The Urban Roots Farm by raising money for its development.
